14. As a mother of a 20 year old GenZ, he’s absolutely right. I don’t need government telling me how to parent. I’ve shut off the internet, changed password and watched my kid withdrawal in anger. Video games were affecting his grades, his health, his social life. I pulled that plug and now he’s working full time, going to school full time, just bought his first car and dating.

17. It’s not that video games are addictive, it’s that a lot of parents use computers/phones/games as babysitters. I was practically raised on a computer (Habbo, imvu, Sims 1-4 , all tycoon games etc…..) but my parents also had ‘computer time’ limits and curfews, so I could still make friends and live life. Now a days kids are encouraged to use devices because it shuts them up, and lets parents be on their own devices…. Parents have gotten SO lazy and are brainwashing their own kids into a gaming lifestyle.
