   • The guy is broke because his parody channel has been getting demotized. To combat that, he created a troll rapper persona to parody modern rappers, without parodying a specific song. It’s similar to how Colbert was a parody of conservative political pundits when he was doing the Colbert Report.

   • Me personally, I don’t like direction he’s going. (TL;DR He’s just exactly the thing he is parodying)

     For this to work, he has to come off as legit enough to pass for a real rapper. Because of that, he can’t be absurd with his comedy like in his old parodies; he has to be subtle to where people who get satire can tell he’s trolling, but those who don’t get satire (i.e. most worldstar viewers), will be confused or either think he’s for real. One could argue that part of the plan is to fool people, though. Him having his music video on the worldstar hip hop channel is enough to get people to think that he’s just a moron trying to be a real rapper.
