     1- your immune system is lower. And we all know how being sensitive can cause reactions.
     2-a lot of the chemicals that are in the dye has been linked to certain types of cancer.
     3-hair dye seeps into your bloodstream (hence why some people react to PPD because hair due never leaves your system). And we all know when you are pregnant. What you eat. Drink. Touch. Effects and reaches the baby too through the blood stream.

     When pregnant it’s always better to be safe than sorry. It’s only 9 months. If a woman can’t give up the little things in life for her unborn child. For 9 fast months.

     Then maybe she should wait off having a baby until she matures!

     A few years ago they tried to ban PPD. But because so much money is made from it. The EU rejected it. And threw the scientific research and evidence out of the courts.

   • Free Speech My daughter is 6 almost 7 months old & I did enough research and asked multiple doctors if it was ok to dye my hair while pregnant, they all said that whatever amount is absorbed into our bloodstream it isn’t enough to potentially cause great harm. I was also told that as long as you’re in a well ventilated room where the fumes aren’t being trapped into one small space it should also be safe. Pregnancy takes a toll on our bodies, we should be allowed to do little things to keep ourselves looking put together. Cosmetic enhancements such as lip fillers, Botox, etc when you pregnant I don’t agree with , but when you’re dying your hair once every 2-3 months I really don’t see what harm it can cause.

     Though you shouldn’t push it to other mums that it’s safe as chips.

     There was a time when mums were told by doctors to give their baby whiskey when teething. And if they were born not breathing. Mums were told smoking and drinking whilst pregnant was safe in small amounts.
     Doctors also told mums it was safer to put their new born to bed on their chest.

     I am aware of all of that , however more and more research is being done do determine what is & isn’t safe for infants, as well as what to avoid when you are pregnant. I am in no way shape or form pushing what I know on anyone, simply stating what I have been told and what I have also researched. Of course I would think that with high risk pregnancies you’re asked to stay away from variety of things including hair dye , but when you are having a perfectly healthy pregnancy & are in a well ventilated area & not bleaching your hair nor breathing in the hydrogen peroxide it is safe. If it wasn’t , it would be more and more talked about but there’s a lot more information now than there was even 5-10 years ago 🙂 what’s considered safe now might not be considered safe in 15 years. New research is bringing different results and information all the time.

     Also in my case I didn’t use the box color stuff they have at Walmart, I used an Argan oil dye that was ammonia free as well as ammonia free developer , I also never touched my roots , I always started about an inch away from them.
