7. why would having a role in Forrest Gump be a bad thing? Like Mykelti said, it’s an American classic

   • butlerbulldogs05 think about it, if you’re in a American Classic, most of your fans will talk about ONLY that role you had in that classic. They wouldn’t even care if you showed up in a new movie.

   • I can see why that would bother an actor. But I think I personally would just be proud that I was in at least 1 important classic movie and not just a bunch of mediocre movies.

   • I believe the issue is type casting.. but IMO, good actors can overcome this with diversity and the actors that are unable to expand their roles beyond that of which they’ve previously played earn themselves that reputation..

   • +KremitDeFrog It also requires that they are offered different type of roles. It´s not always about their own capabilities. It´s much more about what roles they are offered by the producers and movie makers
