You shouldn’t be allowed to fire someone for purchasing or using marijuana in a state where it’s legal…you can’t fire someone for smoking cigarettes…drinking alcohol outside of work…being prescribed Px medicine with a list of 1000 side effects…so why can he be fired for purchasing/using marijuana? He should’ve fought this. Unless he showed up to work high…he shouldn’t be fired.
